Our Team

Rickie

Rickie is one half of the sister duo Rickie-Bobbie that was rescued by the Jenkins Family in 2020. Rickie and her sister have been entertaining, educating and inspiring children all across Chicago ever since. Her smile says it.

Bobbie

Bobbie is the other half of the Rickie-Bobbie duo. When not spreading kindness and inspiration to children across Chicago, Bobbie, along with her sister Rickie can be found playing in the park & snuggling on the couch with her humans.

Rosie Rae

Rosie Rae was adopted by the Jenkins Family from Chicago Animal Care and Control in 2014. She was nearly euthanized due to overcrowding, under-funding and the trauma she endured prior to being found on the streets. Her remarkable journey from neglected puppy to a performer, teacher and sweet loving family pet is a testament to all we do at The Lola Foundation.

Jeff & Lola

Jeff Jenkins and his recused canines have been bringing their message of kindness, patience and empathy to young people across Chicago for over two decades. It all started with the one and only Lola, pictured above. Lola was rescued by Jeff as a puppy, and despite her condition Jeff saw something special in her. Training, socialization and lots of love helped Lola overcome her challenges and live an extraordinary life of service. Lola educated and entertained hundreds of thousands of people in a wide array of venues: Chicago Bulls Games, Chicago Public Schools, Illinois Youth Corrections, Midnight Circus, Chicago Park District Day camps, International Music Festivals and more. Lola’s life serves as the inspiration and foundation for all we do at The Lola Foundation.
